Who Moved My Cheese
Who Moved My Cheese written by Spencer Johnson M. D. is a short fable motivational story. This story goes over two mice, and two men that are in a maze. They get to have some cheese in the beginning. They eat they get stuffed, and grow complacent with having this cheese available. One day they fall asleep and when they wake up, now the cheese is gone. Through this story the mice and men need to find the cheese and go through different forms of handling the situation. Through reviewing how the mice react, and how the men react, you learn along the way little behaviors that they practice that can also be found within ourselves. When we read this we might be able to see behaviors from within ourselves that might be holding us back, and the types of behaviors we can practice to help us go forward.

Strength Finder
Strength Finder 2.0 written by Tom Rath is a non-fiction self-help book designed to help one shift their mindset onto cultivating on one's own talent. Often when trying to improve, we focus on wanting to strengthen our weaknesses. However, in this book, Rath challenges us to take on a different perspective. Focusing on what our strengths are, rather than focusing on what makes us weak. He helps us to avoid endlessly trying to improve something that we aren't good at. Why not focus on what we are good at. In Strength Finder 2.0 the author walks you through how to find where your strong points are and how to further strengthen them even more so that you can thrive, instead of constantly attempting to fix your downfalls.

Emotional Intelligence 2.0
Emotional Intelligence 2.0 written by Travis Bradberry and Jean Greaves is a book that goes over having control of your own emotions. This book talks about how our intelligence IQ isn't the only intelligence we can have. They talk about how some of the most successful people in business have high emotional IQs even if their intellectual IQ isn't as high. This goes to show us the impact emotional intellect can have on us and our lives. When one goes through this book you can take a small quiz to help yourself see where you stand, then you go through different stages of learning and self evaluating to evolve into a more compose and highly emotionally intelligent person.

The Obstacle Is The Way
The Obstacle is the Way written by Ryan Holiday is a cleverly written book with a mindset carried by many successful people in our world. It is heavily based in using a though process called stoicism. This book goes forth to review with you how if you don't allow yourself to be conquered by your hardships, but rather find where the outlet is within them, that you can take advantage of your hardships to succeed. Its a complex way of thinking, but that's okay! This book doesn't take a whole long set of knowledge to understand. Throughout the book Holiday reviews mindsets to have and steps to take in hard situations that will assist you being able to come out on the other side with an optimistic attitude. Personally I feel like this book is one I would read again. It has helped me to not feel to fast to feel conquered by situations that feel hard, but to remember that there is another side to the situation. I highly recommend this book to anyone who feels like they just can't seem to win.

You Can Heal Your Life
You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay is a carefully crafted book written by a therapist that is designed to help you heal. Through this book she dares you to dive deep within yourself and review past moments of your life. There are exercises for you that offer you an opportunity to sit down, and write things out, to help these lessons drive a little deeper for you. She reviews over different areas of your life that may have been injured that could be negatively affecting you. Areas like heartbreaks, the way we were raised, or major challenges that life might've thrown at us that are beyond everyday life. I myself have used this book and have found a great amount of help in being able to process and let go of things that I didn't feel comfortable sitting down and talking to another person about. If you feel there are areas of your life that need healing, but you feel uncomfortable opening up to someone else just yet, I highly recommend this book. It allows you to heal at your own pace, in your own space.
