The Runner

“Sir, please, if you'll allow me. You know that I've been loyal to you. I've never done you wrong yet, I don’t understand why you’re coming at me about this.”        I know the answer to this already: it's no. Nonetheless he still acted as though he needed a minute to think about it, like my loyalty is questionable. Staring at me with a smug grin, and cocky attitude. He's a pufferfish, I see through him. I get it though. Gotta do what you need to in order to keep the front and keep  the backup of your people. Can’t allow them to question the way you run shit.  That's when he finally spoke out, “You're right. I'll hand that to you.  You have been a loyal runner for me.  I appreciate you for that…….. This is what I'm gonna do.”        He shook a finger at me as he sat in his chair, one leg crossed, ankle resting on the knee of the other.  He sat there  in his grey suit with a pink button up mens...

Arcturus aka Bear Guard

Arcturus is an orange-colored giant star that belongs to the constellation Boötes (Boo-OH-tees). It is located at 24°14’ in Libra, with an orb of 2°40’. It is the fourth brightest star in the night sky being slightly more massive than our own sun, and places immediately behind the constellation Ursa Major. This placement right being Ursa Major is where Bear Guard gets its name from. The word Arcturus originates from the Greek language word Arktouros, with Arktos meaning bear, and Orous meaning guardian or or watcher. This star is one of the 15 Bohemian stars that are greatly known. Even more this star in some beliefs is believed to rule over the stone of Jasper, and the vegetable plantain.

Astrologically, Arcturus carries an energy of both Mars and Jupiter and brings high ambition, pride, love of power, and grandeur view of the native. This star may bring times of anxiousness and turbulence, but in primary conveys to its native success in fine arts, and business, high honors, or high office. When Arcturus conjuncts the ascendant of the native's chart, the native may be of high military honor. When Arcturus is in conjunction with the midheaven of a native’s chart it may bring high ecclesiastical honor, martial preference, and or prosperity in business. The native may have long periods of high success and receive much in material items, especially if this star is in a positive aspect to a planet or angle on the native’s chart.

The native may also find the most success in traveling and taking voyages, an example of this being a musician that makes their money through touring. If this star is in a negative aspect to a planet or angle on the native’s chart, it can resemble a hinderance or disability in the native that is long lasting or everlasting.

This star in aspect with a major angle or planet can also show one who is involved in the occult or is very spiritual. This planet adds a lot of power to one's connection to the spiritual side. Overall Arcturus, side by side with Spica, is one of the most fortunate stars in the sky, as long as it remains positively aspected of course. Overall Arcturus is a star that can bring great energy to one that gives them power to take control in life weather through militant ways or philosophical or religious ways.

So if you found this interesting, and you are one who enjoys reading astrology. Give this star a try and do some research. How does this star shine within your own chart? Even more, astronomically, do you enjoy star gazing? Now here's a star you can seek out to rise upon the eastern horizon in the sky, to appear and tell you that the spring season is coming like a Puxatony Phil groundhog every February.
