The Klone and I by Danielle Steel

Book Reviews · 10/8/2026

Overall I give it a 8/10

This is the first Danielle Steel book that I have read. I happened to find it in a stack of books that I had gotten, while ordering books. I figured I know I saw this author in the book selections that some of the women in my family had read, and I figured why not give her a try.

Danielle steel I have to say really is a good a writer. She knows how to make you feel a part of the story. In this book it definitely felt quirky and fantasy, but it works! The comedy of the Klone really pulls you in and draws some emotionally confusion as you sympathize with her in your own way.

It wasn't a very detailed story, it was definitely a shorter read. If you're a woman who has recently gone through a break up and need a book to sit down with and feel a little better, Danielle Steel has your back with The Klone and I. Although, if you're looking for a longer more in depth read like a 50 Shades of Grey type of story, then this book may be a bit too short and vague for you.
